Club History

The Kiwanis Club of the Gold Country

 is a "born again" club,

having fallen in attendance until we were

disbanded in the late 1980's.

We are now 18 years old after having been

rescued in 1990 by former member and

Past Lieut. Gov. Larry Rankin

He re-energized our club and led us by the

example of his 84 years of life.

Larry Rankin passed away in March, 2004.
