Fair Volunteers - Pick up you admission tickets to the Fair at our lunch meeting or get them from Lew at the Old Barn Storage.

Prior to the Nevada County Fair, we will have a short training class on cooking and other volunteer tasks for our
Chicken and Fries Booth. August 2nd at 5:30. Be there.

Kiwanis Back to School Event at the Grass Valley K-Mart. We will be at the K-Mart parking lot at 6:30 AM.

Fair Booth training at 5:30 and a Board Meeting at 5 O'Clock; we’ll meet at our Fair Booth at the
Nevada County Fairgrounds to review procedures for running our food booth.
Cooking, working the register and other topics will be discussed to insure
we have a successful Chicken & Fries fund raiser. Anyone working the
Fair Booth should be here. We will be eating what we cook.
Water is available, otherwise bring your own beverage.

Lunch Meeting at Kane's. Our Guest Speaker will be Mardie Caldwell of the Honduras Project.
Mardie is an active adoption professional, building families through the Lifetime Adoption Center for more than 21 years.

It's The Nevada County Fair. This is The Gold Country Kiwanis biggest fund raiser.
The Chicken and Fries Food Booth will be up and running.
We'll be needing volunteers to work at our booth. More info as it becomes available.
