Team One

Kiwanis Team One is a Board Committee of Kiwanis dedicated to reviewing all funding requests throughout the year. They also are charged with preparation of the Annual Giving Budget that identifies the organizations and projects Kiwanis will fund during the year. Below is a list of organizations that Team One approved for 2011.

Team One Minutes – September 21st , 2011

Team One Meeting

Attending members: Attending members: Tom Morrissey, Cal McKitrick, Lew Aebersold, Mike O'Brien, Jane Flahive, Kristin Jenkins, Paulette Aebersold.

Minutes: Motion to approve Lew, seconded Mike.

Budget: 2012 Budget was approved by Board providing the funds are available.

Kristin requested more money if available for the charter school K-Kids and Builders Club. Kristin has already received a check from Kiwanis for $1000 to start up K-Kids and Builders club. Kristin will ask for donations when projects come up at school. Thought maybe the kids could do some sort of fundraiser also. Cal will get Mike Bloebaum and Kristin together to discuss Hennessy School. Mike Bloebaum will need to contact someone at Hennessy. A concern was made that we maybe taking on too much.
